I work part time, and need someone more reliable than a college student being a "nanny". I've tried to SAHM route for childcare, and all three times have been disasters. I've heard some pretty horrible things about Polliwogs (they give the kids McDonalds every day for lunch!) While leaving the mall today I saw The Tot Spot, and googled it when I got home. Looks legit, anyone have any comments/suggestions about the place?

I have my own reliable transportation to get to and from your home and have plenty of energy to ensure your children are having fun and being taken care of. Depending on the age teaching could also be apart of that. Teaching manners I believe is by showing them good manors. It has worked for my children and possibly my future daughter in law. My youngest son has had some special needs starting in Pre-4 but he has out grown that completely without medication, but with my support and sports he has grown into a wonderful young man. So I do have experience with helping children redirect their attention. I am looking for a family that I can be with for awhile would like to be close enough to be like family, I am older than alot of the people I see online. My experience is onhands and life experiences, I choose not to use daycare and do understand the concerns you have in using the daycare system. Home day care is easier for the children also I believe.

I will also be available 2 weekends a month Friday - Sunday night for extra work.

are you for real, your wording is really tacky on your add. if you want good quality childcare then ask for it. and then do your research. ask for drug test, blood test, and osbi check. you make yourself sound immature with that phrase about drama, std and so forth. i ahve been in proffesional dhs childcare for many yrs. and i do not recall my sexual orientation being a deciding factor in my employment, some one have may circumstances they cannot be at fault for ie. for example a rape victim, or some other medical issue. as long as thier not acting inappropiate then there shouldn't be an issue and as for your drama spin do you not have any drama you must be perfect wait a minute there is no such thing. some poeple are struggling w/ layoffs, finances,family loss etc. no they should however be able to work with your family and not bring thier problems to work. your pay is reasonable its your words that concern me if you are that worried get a nanny cam. videos dont lie. im drug,std,alchohol, and disease free except they are looking into possible lupus, or severe ezcema wich niether one are transmittable but do you realize how you sound i may have scars from this or worse. you really need to think about what you are saying and if i had those things i certianly wouldn't work with children good luck.

We practice Attachment Parenting and it is important that whoever cares for our child while we are at work responds to him in the same manner we do. Care will be provided in our home and you must have your own transportation. We have 2 dogs, but they can be kept in the backyard during the day. I am currently watching her 3 year old little boy who is very polite and well behaved, but I won't be able to watch him anymore because of some changes in my househols so I told her I would try and help her find a new sitter since she has no internet access. My friend usually works 8 to 10 hour days at least one weekend day and the rest during the week. Her schedule will become fixed in about 2 or 3 weeks but for now she works from 2:30 pm to about Midnight and the other days are from 5 am to about 3 pm. Her son is really easy to care for and minds very well so babysitting for her is a breeze. I only charge my friend $20 a day so about $100 a week for babysitting and she's looking to stay around that price. If this is something you can help with we'd love to hear from you.
