I bought this car from a friend of mine over 25 years ago. This is the first generation of the Taurus series (1980). The "Jelly Bean" design. The vehicle currently runs and drives good. Engine replaced in 2012 with Odometer on about 262,000 miles (Vulcan, V6 3.0 L). The original transaxle AXOD 4-speed has some leaks around the oil pan. A/C system with new components works, but has a leak. The exterior is in fair condition due to being an older vehicle. Interior spacious and in good condition, with comfortable velour seats for a pleasant drive on streets or highways. The interior and dashboard have LED lighting.
Dashboard shows some cracking, and the front bumper cover shows some deterioration (see pictures).
Power windows, door locks, side mirrors, and rear windshield working; also some add-ons as sound stereo (working), remote fuel cap, and trunk openers installed (lock key missing). Good tires and battery.
CARFAX report --- Clean
This is a good vehicle to drive and a project to restore as well.
