I bought this receiver at an estate auction. After plugging it in I turned on the power button to see if the panel lights lit up. They did. I was encourage enough by that to buy a brand new remote stated by the eBay seller to be compatible with this specific receiver. The remote is still in the mailing pouch, which I will open in front of the first person who is interested enough to meet with me and view the receiver. But I don't have the equipment (speakers, etc.) to test the receiver.
In that regard, the two of us will need to formulate a mutually agreeable testing plan using the prospective buyer's equipment, probably at his/her house. I have ideas about how to do that, which I'll gladly discuss over the phone, with the objective of protecting both the buyer and the seller. If the receiver doesn't work to the buyer's satisfaction there will of course be no transaction.
The photos I've included in this listing are Internet "stock" photos of this specific model. The unit I'm offering is in substantially original cosmetic condition, with no dings or signs of the unit having been dropped. It is surprisingly heavy, weighing 33.1 pounds.
This model was introduced in June, 2013. A decent review of it that describes its features can be found at the Audioholics website at:
