Dietrich Grunewald signed original numbered serigraph circa 1960s
This fabulous abstract yellow and grey floral piece of fine art was created by Dietrich for the Van Amstel Company.
On the back of the piece is information about a serigraph from the Van Amstel Company a write up about Dietrich and the number of the piece (310).
This mid century modern piece is a desirable collectible that will only increase in value.
So many of Dietrich's works are still in original private collections and have not come up for resale.
Few that have are selling for almost double of what I have this piece listed for.
About Dietrich Grunewald:
Sweden born artist (December 22, 1916-May 21, 2003), moved to San Francisco and eventually ended up in LA in the 1940's.
In the late 50's he was engaged by the Van Amstel Company of Los Angeles to collaborate on a series of serigraphs.
These would be marketed nationwide and these are what really brought him to fame.
