I wish I knew more about this piece, I have had it for years. The details are fabulous, even around the edges and down the legs! It is a little dusty -- as you can imagine, it's difficult to clean and sadly it doesn't fit well in a house that is 100% wood on the inside with animals. So, I am going to let it go to a new home to be cherished.

It appears to be an antique Chinese hand-carved ebonized wood table. The central relief carving depicts a fleet of sailboats on the sea with the mountains in the background and trees in the foreground with a border of flowers, which also run up/down the legs.

While the picture of the top shows every detail, it also makes it look like there are a more imperfections than there actually are -- some of that is dirt/dust. There may be a few chips in the paint, but I do not believe they are chips in the wood itself. This would be great to use as is for that little spot you need something unique in or maybe there are some of you antique collectors who might just decide to restore it. This table is 20" long x 14" deep x 21" high. If you can provide additional info on this table, please do! $75 OBO
