Each nuc includes a new queen with a good egg-laying pattern, about 3 frames of eggs/larvae/capped brood and about 2 frames of honey/pollen as their food source and a bunch of bees already working the colony. They grow fast! Pre-order your bees today and enjoy your own fresh honey!
These nucs will be ready for pickup in Claremore sometime around the first week of May. Pickup could be as early as the middle of April or as late as the 2nd week of May all depending on the weather. I’ll give a short beekeeping talk at pickup and answer any beekeeping questions the group has.
Nucs come in a custom made box for easily moving honey bees. It’s a plastic box custom made to fit the five frames with an entrance that can open on either end. It kind of looks like a large shoebox. It’s great for moving bees in the back of a pickup truck. Later it’s a great box for swarm catching. The box is yours to keep.
