This is Bandit, a 10-12 year old paint pony gelding, he's roughly 13hh (I'll get exact measurements). He was supposed to be broke to ride and drive when we got him, but is green, I've rode him a couple times, he's needs work when mounting, but did fine after I was on (still very green, needs and experienced rider and I have videos)(he's bucked once, wasn't trying to be mean, he was just scared). I haven't tried hooking him to a cart so I'm not sure if he's actually broke. He stands tied, bathes, leads, trailers, lunges, and saddles, (he can be a bit skittish when saddling, just have to give him time) he can be difficult to catch, but once you catch him he listens good or he'll be your best friend for treats or food. I've worked on desensitizing him, he'll cross over tarps, he'll pony off other horses (sometimes he'll follow and act like he's not) he's gone to a children's barn yard at a fair for more exposure and did good. He needs someone that can put time into him that he can learn to trust, he's a sweet pony when he gets comfortable. I bought him as a project and that's how I'm selling him (not a kids pony, yet). He was bought from horse traders, so we're not sure what he went through. He gets along good with other horses, donkeys, goats and dogs. He comes to a whistle when it's time to feed.
After everything being said, I'm not trying to make him sound like a bad horse, just being honest about his quirks. When he's comfortable he's very sweet.
I'm asking $1200 for him or I'd consider possible trades for another broke horse, 10-12 years 14-15hh, or a gun. I will keep working with him while I have him.
