Not happy with this breeding, and since I raise these rabbits to feed my family, these need to come off of the feed bill in a few weeks. 4 weeks old tomorrow, and barely half the size of the other 2 litters of grow outs I have currently. Wanted to give these guys a chance at potentially being pets, or if u are looking for a smaller buck for a larger doe, these would be great. I have both does and bucks. The doe these came from seems to have stopped growing pretty quickly compared to her sister who had a litter 4 days before her. The size difference between both does and kits, are completely undesirable for what I am wanting. They are all handled daily, and are beginning to explore solids. I don't recommend breeding the doe unless u are looking for small kits. If she isn't rehomed, she is going to the freezer after this next litter, as will all kits that aren't rehomed. We breed her last week before I realized the drastic size difference in litters. So she is definitely bred, and a great mother, just not what we are wanting for our homestead. Could make decent snake food for folks who raise large snakes.
These are new Zealand/Tamuk/giant checkered. Litter born 4/4/26. Doe was born last spring.
