Rare find for vintage cookware. Patent for this design filed in late 1930s. Solid aluminum (copper and aluminum are the best metals for heat conduction). 6 pieces. Lid doubles as pan for vegetable roasting, baking rolls or stuffing, or as a serving platter. Every piece is solid, in great shape, and no dents.
Use across 2 burners on stovetop, or use in the oven with or without the middle cuff. Originally designed to cook entire meal at the same time: meat, veggies, and dessert.
Slow cook 2 large roasts at one time, or several chickens or a turkey. Make the best "bone broth" to freeze for gravies and soups. Try a large meatloaf or numerous Italian meatballs while steaming veggies above. Lasagna stacked as high as you want. There are countless combos and uses for this versatile roaster.
