Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work with and around overhead cranes, forklifts, trucks, power equipment, automated equipment, and other hazardous processes. Due to this, the position is classified as SAFETY SENSITIVE.
Assist craftsmen with tasks related to the assigned craft.
Maintain productivity levels that consistently meet the Company’s established requirements as outlined in work instructions.
Ensure workmanship meets all Company quality standards.
Follow all Premier safety policies and procedures.
Maintain 5S standards throughout the work area.
Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and willingness to contribute ideas that support timely, efficient project completion while upholding safety and quality expectations.
Skills & Experience:
Basic fabrication shop experience preferred.
Ability to operate overhead cranes and power tools.
Ability to read and write basic shop communications.
Proficient in using a shop tape measure.
Ability to learn to read shop drawings and understand bills of material.
Must be willing and able to learn new skills.
