The Safety and Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Safety & Recruiting Department in processing qualified CMV drivers and gathering necessary (Driver Qualification Files & Asset / Vehicle) documentation to ensure their eligibility.

The Safety and Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for screening, qualifying, and building a driver qualification files for new contractors.

Communicate to Owner Operators and their drivers on gathering documents (CDL, Medical Card, Vehicle Titles, Vehicle Inspections, etc...) including phone calls, emails, and text messages.

Utilize computers and computer systems to set up functions, enter data, or process information, while ensuring that departmental policies and procedures are followed to the highest standard

Read, process, review and understand CDLIS, MVR, PSP Reports, Past Employment Verifications and other DOT / FMCSA required documentation.

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday (8am to 5pm) (May require additional hours)

Our offices are located in Downtown Tulsa. This position requires that you work in the office.

Salary based on experience with annual performance reviews.
Salary pay range is firm, only serious inquiries only.
Based on performance and meeting goals, commission/bonus may be offered.

The Ideal Candidate:
Someone who enjoys talking to people and building relationships (80% of this positions requires phone calls to CMV Truck Drivers)
Has excel data entry skills
Experience with Microsoft Office Programs, including Sharepoint & OneDrive
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to adapt to company needs
Is goal oriented and determined to succeed

Preferred Experience:
Trucking / Transportation
Customer Service skills
Safety and Compliance

Preferred 1 year experience in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, transportation, compliance, safety, background processing and contacting truck drivers in a corporate environment.

High School Diploma / GED-Associates degree preferred
