Found stray dog

My husband found this male dogs on the side of the highway in the middle of nowhere clearly dumped. We have had him for about 4 day and I can not continue to keep him my big dog doesn’t get along with him.
He is doing very well with going outside to use restroom through dog door. He is good with my small dog my cats and my four children.
Looks to be red heeler mix.

Please if you can take him to foster or even give him a new loving home.
