no one ever runs from freedom and capitalism to socialism or communism. Oh the young always think its a great idea to pool everyone's money and efforts until they realize that means they also have to get off their butts and produce as the govt thinks they should. there are NO free rides in life in any system. Sure people in Cuba get a free chicken every month to eat, but they live in squaller, deteriorating buildings, and quality of life that is miserable. The West and its determination to build something from nothing and making your children's lives better than your own, of law and order for everyone brought the greatest personal wealth and freedom the world has ever seen in history. And we better get our act together or it will be lost forever.
