Great Christmas gift! This is a vintage American Made drill press with much better quality than modern drill presses. Built by King Seeley and sold by Sears, this one is from mid to late 40's. Everything works as it should. This particular drill press does not have the decorative "engine turned" trim which identifies it closer to mid 40's (Metal rationing during WW2. There is information on line confirming this.) Except for the "period correct" Wards motor, it is all original, including paint. It has a Jacobs chuck and a Craftsman belt. The drilling table has ZERO drill marks which is rare for a drill of this age. Included is a Yankee 990 machinist vise and new, foot-operated on/off switch.
