Ellis Concrete Construction is a full-service civil contractor serving municipal, industrial, and commercial clients throughout Oklahoma and surrounding states. We specialize in dirt work, utilities, roadways, bridges, concrete paving, asphalt paving, equipment foundations, and large-scale site development.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee civil construction projects from award to closeout.
Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of assigned construction projects to ensure they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents. This role works closely with Superintendents, field crews, subcontractors, owners, and engineers.
Responsibilities
Manage multiple civil construction projects simultaneously
Review and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts
Develop and maintain project schedules
Prepare and track budgets, cost reports, and forecasts
Coordinate with Superintendents to ensure production goals are met
Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and purchase orders
Process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications
Attend project meetings with owners, engineers, and inspectors
Monitor job costs and ensure profitability
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Oversee project closeout documentation
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in civil construction project management
Strong knowledge of dirt work, utilities, concrete, asphalt, and roadway construction
Experience working on municipal and DOT projects preferred
Ability to read and interpret civil plans and specifications
Strong budgeting, cost control, and scheduling skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office
Valid driver’s license
