Stand-By Personnel is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist for a machining operation offering competitive pay and steady hours. This CNC Lathe Machinist role focuses on machining large-diameter parts (12” and larger) and requires strong experience with GibbsCAM programming and Fanuc controls. Pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Occasional Saturdays as needed
Key Responsibilities for the CNC Lathe Machinist:
• Set up and operate CNC lathes for large-diameter parts (12”+)
• Program and edit machining operations using GibbsCAM
• Perform tooling setup, offsets, and machine adjustments
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Inspect finished parts to verify accuracy and tolerance requirements
• Maintain machines, tooling, and a clean, safe workspace
• Collaborate with machinists, engineering, and production teams
Requirements:
• 3+ years of CNC lathe machining experience preferred
• Experience machining large-diameter parts (12”+)
• Knowledge of GibbsCAM programming
• Experience with Fanuc controls
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
• Ability to work well within a team environment
