Driver Source Staffing Professionals is currently seeking an experienced and dependable Class A CDL Flatbed Driver for regional sod hauling operations. This position is ideal for a hands-on driver who takes pride in their work, is comfortable operating manual transmissions, and prefers being home most nights.

This is not just a "drive and go" position — we are looking for someone willing to be involved in all aspects of the operation, including loading, securing freight, and assisting at project sites when needed.

• Home nightly approximately 99% of the time
• Regional routes
• Manual transmission trucks only
• Overtime available after 40 hours

🕒 Schedule & Home Time

• Typical start time is around 6:30 AM
• Earlier departures may occasionally be required depending on project location
• End times vary based on delivery schedules and workload
• Flexibility is important — some days may end early while others may require extended hours
• Occasional overnight stays may be required for out-of-town projects

🚚 Job Duties

• Operate Class A manual transmission flatbed trucks safely and efficiently
• Haul sod and related materials to project sites
• Navigate harvest fields and off-road terrain when necessary
• Strap, secure, and transport loads properly
• Assist with loading and unloading operations
• Operate front-end loader equipment (training available)
• Assist with project site watering and support duties as needed
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures

✅ Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 years verifiable Class A driving experience
• Manual transmission experience required
• Physically capable of strapping/unstrapping loads and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Front-end loader experience highly preferred
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Clean MVR
• Registered in Clearinghouse
• Must be at least 21 years old
