I am speaking of those fans that mount in the ceiling.
Prefer the older ones over the newer, but will consider. SEND THE PRICE, AND A PIC, **WITH MEASUREMENTS**.
And I'm not speaking of those OVERPRICED (Really??? Wow.) "Whole house" fans that are suspended with straps between rafters at the end of an insulated tube, the grid mounted several feet away, the other end of the tube attached there.
I mean an old timey, probably 50 years old, open the windows, "whop, whop, whop", suction opening the shutter, attic fan. Not only will I give something for it, I MAY even be willing to remove it for you. Might even screw up a piece of sheet rock over that opening to keep that heat out of your house until you're ready to mud & tape. Of course you'd have to already have the sheet rock & screws. I'll bring my own ladder and drill.
